That’s why we created the Coffee Club, featuring our Coffee of the Week subscription — delivering the distinctive flavors of Nordic-style roasting straight to your door, wherever you are.

Why and how do you use Instagram for the Club?

We aim for the Coffee Club to be a forum for discussion and learning together about coffee and brewing.

Instagram is a way for us to share our experience with Coffee of the Week with the Club members. And for the Club members to ask questions and share their thoughts directly with us and other Club members. We share brewing videos with our thoughts from working with the coffee, maybe testing different brewing methods or diving into what exact temperature is the best when brewing a specific coffee. We try to make varied and interesting content every week!

For how long do I commit if I join?

You can cancel your membership at any time. The only limitation is that coffee delivery and payment is every third week. You pay when the package is sent for three weeks membership in advance. As long as you inform us before the package is sent you can cancel your membership before the next delivery. Nothing more will be charged from the time you inform us that you cease your membership.

Is shipping included to anywhere in the world?

Shipping is included in the price in Sweden, EU and Norway. We aim to offer membership to the rest of the world soon.

Are there any additional costs?

No.

How do I cancel?

There are two ways to cancel your membership. Either open the email you received upon joining marked “Your subscription was accepted” and edit your membership, choose cancel and save.

Or simply contact us on shop@nordicstylecoffee.com and we’ll be happy to help you manage your membership.

Can I get grounded coffee instead of whole beans?

We do not offer grounded coffee. This is simply because of how fast the coffee starts staling, losing flavor and texture when grounded.

We advise you to get a home grinder and just grind the amount of coffee you will be using for your brew.

How fresh is the coffee when I get it?

Since we send three weeks of Coffee of the Week at the same time it means that they will be roasted roughly at the same time. All the coffees arrive at our packing station one week before you receive it at your pick up point. We send the coffee Wednesday the week before a new club period starts. Therefore the coffees will be about a week rested arriving to the Club members – most of the time perfectly rested to start brewing (sometimes you might want to wait a few more days).

Why is freshly roasted coffee best?

Some people still believe that freshly roasted coffee tastes good. Coffee needs to rest before brewing. When roasting coffee CO2 builds up in the beans which is slowly released during the rest. If you don’t rest your beans enough the sour CO2 flavor can overpower the actual flavors of the coffee. Resting the coffee allows the flavor and aromas to stand out and will give you a brighter, clearer tasting coffee.

When is coffee at its peak?

There are different opinions about this and it depends on the coffee. We refer to one of our favorite Nordic style roasters, La Cabra: “We recommend resting our coffees for at least 10 days after the roast date, and we often find excellent results, especially for particularly dense coffees, beyond 6 weeks.”
